Movie Monday at Brookhaven

In Pixar's Elemental, the vibrant metropolis of Element City is home to anthropomorphized versions of the four classical elements—fire, water, land, and air—coexisting in a dynamic urban landscape. The story follows Ember Lumen, a fiery and spirited young woman from Firetown, who works at her family's convenience store, the Fireplace. Her life takes an unexpected turn when a water leak causes a flood in the basement, leading to the arrival of Wade Ripple, a laid-back water element and city inspector. Despite their differences, Ember and Wade form an unlikely bond, challenging Ember's long-held beliefs about the world and the rigid boundaries between the elements.
