Not sure what that means? That’s okay — we don’t either!

As long as the book has blue – somewhere, anywhere – it counts.

• A blue cover? You’re in.
• Blue in the title? Works for us.
• A blue character, creature, or planet? Absolutely.
• Blue mood, vibes, or just your favorite blueberry muffin scene? Why not?

Whether it's deep navy, sky blue, teal, aqua, or a vague turquoise that might be green if you squint — if you can argue it's blue, we’re here for it.

So go on, pick something blue-ish and let’s get reading. 💙

The Open Book Society is a UNIQUE BOOK CLUB. There is no assigned reading!

You pick a book that fits our monthly theme, and we bring the conversation! Themes can be anything from a genre, the color of the book cover, a certain time period, or even a random fact about the author. Every meeting brings a fresh, creative twist!

What We Offer:

• All Books Welcome: Read what you love and share it with others. Each meeting brings a variety of perspectives and recommendations.
• Respectful Conversations: We discuss themes, ideas, and the impact of our books — but absolutely no spoilers! Everyone deserves to experience their next great read without surprises being given away.
• Community of Readers: Connect with fellow book lovers, discover new titles, and celebrate the joy of reading in an open, welcoming space.

How It Works:

• Read a book of your choice that fits the month’s theme.
• Come prepared to share a little about your book: what you loved (or didn’t), themes that stood out, and why others might want to read it.
• Listen to others’ recommendations and leave with a growing to-be-read list!
