Supporting a Loved One with Dementia? You’re Not Alone.
Caring for someone with dementia brings unique challenges, and hearing a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or dementia for a loved one can be overwhelming. You're not alone. Join us for a supportive space to share experiences, gain insights, and connect with others navigating this ever-changing journey.
Makeisha Kees will be joining us as a guest speaker at our next meeting. She will share guidance on what to do when you learn a loved one has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Topics will include important questions to ask your loved one, understanding their wishes, and considerations around insurance, wills, and future planning.
Hosted by Lanell Coley and the Forget Me Not group, in partnership with the Lincoln County Library.
