Event Details

Mrs. Eva Vernon served as one of the original board members of the Lincoln County Public Library and established the Eva Vernon Library Foundation for the purpose of keeping, maintaining and improving a free public library system in Lincoln County. Mrs. Vernon's portrait and silver tea service are on display in the Vernon Meeting Room at Lincoln County Public Library. 

The Vernon Tea Party will be held annually to celebrate the contributions of Mrs. Vernon. This year's tea party will feature a tea tasting by The Great Mississippi Tea Company, followed by traditional tea party refreshments. 

This event is open to all ages and free of charge, but registration is required, as space is limited. 

Although the event is open to all ages there will be no separate children’s activity. The dress code for the event is dressy casual.
