Reading and Book Signing Event

If you are looking for books to read to your baby, toddler, preschooler, kindergartener, first or second grader, look no further.  Local children’s author, Daphne Tillman Perry, has the perfect books for you: ABCs of Love and My Very Busy Day.  ABCs of Love follows Zora as she relates to the alphabet through her family, home, and the world around her exploring each letter with her little brother Amos. Less than 3 weeks after its release, it reached number one on Amazon’s Hot New Releases in the Early Childhood Education category. My Very Busy Day follows Amos as he completes his chores before going outside to do his favorite things: play and tend to the garden that he share with his sister, Zora.

Daphne Tillman Perry, a native of Roxie, MS, is a graduate of Alcorn State University and Meharry Medical College, with a degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in Public Health, respectively.  She is married to Stanfort, and they have two children- Janna and Chandler.  After years as a healthcare administrator, she has stepped out on faith and capitalized on her creative energies as a motivational writer and speaker.  Her stories are for children, but they bring a smile to all who read them.
