Movie Monday at Brookhaven

"The Wild Robot" tells the story of Roz, a robot stranded on a remote island after a shipwreck, who must learn to adapt to the wild surroundings and build relationships with the animals, eventually becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. It explores themes of self-discovery, the connection between technology and nature, and what it means to be alive. Roz, voiced by Lupita Nyong'o, must overcome her programmed nature and develop a loving heart to survive and thrive in the wild. The film also highlights the importance of family, empathy, and compassion. 

This movie is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association for action, peril, and thematic elements. Parental guidance is suggested.
