Please join us as Leah Kemp leads a collaborative effort with the community to create a vision for the arts and culture. She will delve into the rich historical transformation of our communities, examining how they evolved from predominantly agrarian and industrial economies into vibrant, culturally focused ones.
Leah Kemp is the director of the College of Architecture, Art and Design’s Fred Carl Jr. Small Town Center at Mississippi State University. Leah will serve as the state scholar for Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition. She will support each of the six communities hosting the interactive, multimedia exhibit for six weeks from August 2023 through June 2024.
